With all due respect to Jayson Littman, this is the "street view" when these anti-Israel "conferences" are sponsored by "gay" organizations, social, political or academic, large or small. You would not expect an "outsider" to know whether a gay sponsoring group is large or small. They just see that it's "sponsored" by Brooklyn College, City College, or the Gay Community Center. As you should know by now, reality is irrelevant. Appearance is everything.

With all due respect to the writer of this article, its apparent he knows very little about the "gay community". This conference is NOT hosted by the "gay community", but organized by a rather small fringe group of radical queer academics. It's highly irresponsible for Ronn Torrossian to leave the impression that this conference is anything bigger than it is.
