the importance of Am Shalem being voted into the Knesset is to refocus our understanding of traditional Jewish values, that they encourage the middle path/balance & unity. Am Shalem winning seats will reduce Shas' role in enabling the rapid spreading of yeshiva culture's current receiving-without-giving-back state, offer those in that world education opportunities so they need not be stuck in the welfare system as well as ask them to contribute in serving our country for our protection & unity. additionally, Am Shalem plans to find ways to include those who feel outside traditional Judaism, proving that respect for the human being and respect for torah need not negate one another in our modern world.
