Yup. I completely agree. Even with Goldstone's conceding his report was fault and even with the UN declaring the Gaza maritime blockade as legal, the narrative of hate never varies.

Whatever the opinion about the UN, the reason why Israel did not allow the UN to visit the W Bank, is because it did not want to be associated with a fact finding mission which would expose the uncomfortable truth. If the truth is stated while Israel is not part of the exercise, Israel can claim it is flawed… that's what's happened.

I agree that Israel should leave the UN. It would provide a useful precedent so that the US can leave the UN once Obama leaves office.

I believe the author is wrong on the UN. In fact all things being equal I think Israel should leave the UN and deal with bilateral treaties regional conclaves etc… The UN is worthless.
