It was meant that way,Karen. Perhaps you would have a different outlook on things if you were viewing the situation from here, and not from New Hampshire. Southern Israel has been enduring a barrage of rockets from Hamas for a decade now. The US might have considered "Doing their job" to encourage peace in the area, before Israel was forced to fight back for our very survival. Thank you for your comment.

Mr Goldblum, your comments towards MS Englard seem particularly harsh. I personally take offense to the war mongering comments. i I did spend my 18th birthday in the Bekka Valley trying very hard to survive. If not for the brothers and sisters of the IDF and the beautiful people of Haifa that welcomed me home, I may have lost my mind. Be careful Sir, one never knows how others may have sacrificed. Ms Jones, I'm not sure of your background as it relates to Israel but I can say that as kind, caring, and as loyal friends as the Israeli's are, they are a equally proud and very independent people. I served with the IDF in the 80's in Lebanon, where Haifa became my home. Any aid Israel has ever received was offered, and given without strings attached. Of all the countries of the world, ISRAEL is the only true ally the US has ever had.

I, and many like me, will return and sacrifice for that tiny nation should that day ever come. Some seem to be working in that direction. I'm certain no harm or insult was intended by your comments concerning the 2 $Bil. But I can assure you, the quality of that relationship is such that no amount of money could never buy, or ever be for sale. G-D bless!

Let the Truth speak for itself. I personally served with the guys that were left behind in Libya. I will never forgive this Administration.. And still they lie to the people. The appeasement of the enemies of the Jewish state includes the Total destruction of Israel and the utter decimation of the Jewish people. Hamas put it in writing. Article 7 of their charter. The Iranian president has said it for all the world to hear. And Hitler told the world his intentions, but no one was listening. They are not listening now. Having seen rockets cross the border for years now, I feel my anger rising as the world rushes to rescue Hamas. More than 800 missiles have been fired, just in 2012 alone. Not a word from the UN or world community. and the liberal media paints Israel in a corner for finally, finally meeting Hamas.The Prime Minister is on to the UN, the US, and the World. In the Judean Hills, just 8 km south of Jerusalem, derech Haavot, close to the kever of Rachel Emainu, near Givat Eitam, the original location where Melech Dovid thought the Beit HaMikdash would be built,prior to Melech Shlomo building it on Har Hamoriah.
