I"ve found that by sharing the human moments – both the poignancy and the freaking hilarious thoughts that go through so many of our heads – that we do our friends abroad a service: We show them a multifaceted Israel, nuanced, complex, grotesque at some angles but exquisite at most.

The way debates are won in the popular vote setting is to take themes and repeat them in as many ways possible. This is what happens in every interview on every channel. You just need to recognize that its there.

Rina, I've wondered about this too. While I certainly get a lot of likes and shares from my Jewish friends and they are sharing their own things, I do think with non Jewish friends there is an over saturation point. The first day or two they commented but now nothing. Even for me, looking at a group like Israel unlimited that has massive postings, I ignore them after a while. We need to find a way for Israel's position to capture the hearts and minds of people, I am not sure this is it, but absent anything else, I am still doing it.

I think Israelis have now to come up with something new, something very different from the tired old cliches of yesteryear.
Or, if not them, then Palestinians are equally welcome to go along that same path. In the end, it matters not who does so; it only matters that they do.

This would be very different. It should get the very maximum of attention and publicity, really challenging the old ways of getting things done. And, at this stage of the game, it might be better for all concerned to simply throw away the rulebook and start playing an entirely new game – and with an entirely new book of rules.

Rina, you voiced all my own concerns here. I have lost friends because of my diplomacy efforts, but gained others. There is this idea that if you throw enough shiz, some of it is bound to stick. So this is what I do. There is no way for me to gauge the results of my efforts. Hopefully, intentions count!

"Hamas induced deaths in Gaza!"… How absurd can you get? It is the IDF which is killing innocents in Gaza, destroying its civil infrastructure, all to to what end? To satisfy the Israeli blood liust?
What is the net result of these Israeli assaults? Creation of more and more hate, and fentrenching enimity towards Isral, pushing the prospect of peace that much further back, increasing Israels isolation and reinforcing its status as an entity which will go to any lengths to solidify its occupation.
Does Israel deserve this tag?
Israeli Hasbra has become a millstone around Israel neck, the more you push the Stated Israeli line of victimhood the more cynicism you create towards Israel.
