Ilana Diamond recently finished her IDF service as a liaison to international organizations in the southern West Bank. She moved to Israel in 2010, after receiving a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. With all the free time she has on her hands since becoming a citizen, Ilana has turned her attention to Israeli eateries nation-wide. In search of everything but the local falafel and hummus stand, she hopes to find great food that, hopefully, does not include chickpeas in the mix.
