Irena Kalhousová is from Prague, the Czech Republic and currently lives in Israel. She works as a Research Fellow for the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv. Previously she worked as a Chief Analyst at the Prague Security Studies Institute. Ms. Kalhousová focuses on the contemporary Middle East, the Arab-Israeli conflict and European affairs. She regularly contributes to Czech newspapers and journals and makes live commentaries for Czech TV and radio regarding contemporary Middle-Eastern issues. Irena holds an M.Phil. degree in Contemporary European Studies from University of Cambridge and a B.A. degree in Political Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
