His awards include the National Playwriting Competition, the New Jersey Playwright's Contest, and two New Jersey Governor's Awards in the Arts. He graduated from Brown University and cum laude from Boston University School of Law where he was named Edward S. Hennessey Scholar and Paul J. Liacos Scholar.
