He has two children, Carolyn Haifa, from a previous marriage, and Aaron, who is Russian Jewish. Hanania writes regularly for Creators Syndicate on Middle East issues and for the Jerusalem Post every Wednesday. During his more than 35 years in journalism, he has hosted live radio talk shows currently on three stations, Radio Chicagoland on WSBC AM 1240 and WCFJ AM 1470 every Sunday morning, and Radio Baladi which focuses on American Arab issue on WNZK AM 690 radio in Detroit.
