I am told April will see some advertisment.

That translates to major savings on price of ownership over 4 years. If oyu take the tax advantage of paying for service rather than for gas, the savings go much much deeper.

My roof is covered with PV panels so that on average i produce more electricity than I use in my daily commute. Second, whichever way you twist it, a 92% efficiency motor coupled with the most efficient energy distribution network, the high-tension Grid, is way more efficient than the 5% well-to wheel fact in the ICE automotive mode.

With cars energy is wasted, not so much by power plants. The difference is very significant.

But the real point is that there is no need for oil specific gas. Power plants run on alternate fuels.
