I think that Meir Javendafar is helping Iran much more so than additional houses in Jerusalem. Imaging a German Jew living in the US in 1944, saying that Hitler is not so bad, that the German Jews had it coming, and that Hitler would really benefit from bombing the trains to Auschwitz. We would call such a person a creature. Javendafar is the Iranian version of such a creature, representing Irans interests in Israel.

The new homes are part of the Israeli election campaign. The irate governments know that. All the huff and puff is a charade. The Palestinian recognition at the UN is part of the negotiating process that will go on for 100 years. If now they have a country, let's let them live in it. It's going to be a messy process but manageable with minimal violence once Iran is neutralized.

The concept that Jews are acceptable inhabitants of this planet as guests as long as they behave themselves according to strict criteria is as old as anti-Semitism itself.
