		<description><![CDATA[Its horrible that it is happening, and there can&#039;t be discussion at all among people. I count myself as very lucky for the experience I have had and hope we one day get to a point where there can be dialogue among people (especially academics) who disagree. People should be able to explore different ideas without lies being spewed out or without having difficulties because they support Israel. One day, right?]]></description>

I am a political science major my school (the University of North Carolina at Asheville) and some of my professors, including my advisor, are pro-Palestinian. These professors though have encouraged me in what I want to do and have allowed me to argue in Israel&#039;s defense without belittling me or making me feel &quot;wrong.&quot; It saddens me to see other political science departments become so politicized rather then being a great place of learning.]]></description>
