This writer is a chump. Consider even his misleading comment below about US aid skipping the most important facts about it. Yes we will see next week. But I wonder how many voters will be swayed at the last minute by the fear of someone other than Bibi becoming PM in these hostile times.

Actually its been quite a while since we had a true right wing government, or left wing for that matter. Most previous governments have been the regular mix of left and right. Labor was part of Netanayhu's current government at one point. Labor was also a part of both Sharon governments at one point. We have not had a true right wing government in decades.

We don't need the military aid from the USA. It helps more the USA than it helps us, in fact it hurts the Israeli economy. It represents barely 1% of Israel GDP and could be abolished the same way we stopped the economic aid in the past.
Anyway all your article relies on magical thinking and the idea that a legally elected right wing government would be condemned ? Why exactly ? We already had such right wing governments and nothing happened.
You want your camp to win ? Try to convince people that you are right. Good luck with that.

We have yet to see if the left electorate truly collapses. I suggest we wait for Tuesday night. As for the international community lets not forget that we are quite dependent on it. The billions of dollars in foreign aid that give Israel's its military supremacy don't come from Santa Clause they come from the US and we rely on our international partners to hold off attacks in the UN such as the Goldstone report.

I love how the Israeli left relies totally on people who are hostile to Israel for all of their supposed leverage. Just a clue guys; this might have something to do with the electoral collapse of the Israeli left. BTW; please, do call Bibi's "bluff" and force him into a righist coalition. Let's see how long it lasts in the face of hostility from your beloved "international community". (FYI; most of the "international community" is completely hostile and active right now).
