There seems to be an inordinate amount of tunnelling occupying the minds of both Israelis and Palestinians just at the moment.

But what if some consideration should be given to another type of burrowing technique, one that might well prove far more invasive and be possessed of a much longer working lifespan?

The idea here is to bore deep into the primary strata that sustains the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and undermine its foundations from within, weakening the structure to such an extent that its collapse becomes inevitable, an unavoidable consequence of unstoppable forces and a salutary lesson in geopolitical analysis and understanding.

And the only construction materials needed for such a project are those of imagination and the most rudimentary grasp of simple mathematics.
