I am also an EOB having at times criticized governments, secular charity organizations, the Catholic Church and all the main strands of orthodox Judaism. In my experience, being accused of being a ____ basher is the reflexive response of folks who can admit no wrong and don't want to be bothered with refuting the criticism so they go one better and just question the motive of the critic.

I love this article and I love humor; it's what gets us through Most reeent example; husband asked if I want to see the film about the tsunami and I said I don't have to go to the movies to watch suffering.
