Oh Trader Joes. Such a pleasure to shop in America. The confidence that I'm giving my son healthy food. I dread shopping here. Running into people, paying for carts, waiting in line for days, and then shlepping all the bags. Ah the days of Mommmy parking….Nicely written.

For me, it's Bed, Bath & Beyond. Six and a half years now for me…and I seem to have survived without it. But I'll never stop pining away for those massive wonderful parking lots! Totally relate, Jen.

This is such a great post! I rushed to read it as soon as your mentioned Jung I empathize with you 100%. Truth be told, supermarket shopping is my happy place. There's a reason my daughter turned down a play date this afternoon in lieu of a trip to the local Super Deal. And, like you, I absolutely pine for American supermarket shopping. It takes time, patience, and a lot of practice. But, knowing you, you'll get there in style!
