New elections in the UK will be Déjà vu all over again, again arguing for and against the UK leaving the EU. Yes, Labor will argue for Brexit light, but that’s the same thing as running it down.

The surprise announcement by the UK PM implies that she lacks the solid majority she needs to implement Brexit. Seeking one now, she feels certain to win. She hopes that May Day this year will come around five weeks late. But she’ll fail (mayday, mayday), even as Labor and others are in disarray, so the UK more-or-less will stay in the EU after all. Even all the Jews voting for her won’t give her the majority she dreams of.

Unbelievable that 88 years ago Laurel & Hardy already depicted Brexit perfectly, in just under 20 minutes, in Perfect Day (1929) w/Edgar Kennedy.

Or you’d rather hear it from a British artist (L&H being a mixed duo)?

All the world’s a stage,

And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
