and it's not about PR. it's about bringing the entire world to fulfilling the ultimate spiritual mission…which we have been given the task of doing.

if you, personally, as a Jew, feel like you need to run away or hide from participating in that task, then it's your prerogative. but I can assure you, you will be unsuccessful.

a Jew can't escape him/herself. and the more he tries, the more the world reminds him of who he is. sometimes verbally. sometimes physically.

from what i've seen AIPAC made it their purpose in life to steer or attempt to steer American foreign policy in a specific direction. all they've done is made people in America, who are otherwise on the fence about American Jews, think that American Jews are basically in charge of America's foreign policy.

whether true or not…or partially true…AIPAC's work has done less to help us.

when did i say AIPAC created anti-semitism. you have reading comprehension issues.

as for JStreet…i haven't heard one anti-Israel person complain about them. if anything, they see them as useful idiots for their cause…which is to dismantle the State of Israel.

as for a Temple being a "slaughterhouse"…that was the most ignorant i've ever heard in my life, especially sine it's coming from a Jew. you really need to read halacha, history and Torah in general.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zions concotion was created long, long befor AIPAC, and if AIPAC wouldn't exist, Jew-haters around the globe would project it onto J-Street, Magen David Adom or ZAKA just as well. It is stupid, to say the least, to say AIPAC created anti-Semitism, and if AIPAC wouldn't exist, Israel would be just fine.

But do you know what it is that Israel has to do now?

How exactly are Jews expected to become a light unto the nations? I'll lay even money that no Jew today actually knows this. They, much like the rest of us, are just living in hope that the answer arrives before too long and it will then make some sense out of a very mystifying prediction.

One thing I know: It can't be anything that's done by half-measures.

Yasher koach! This is one of the best things I've read in a long time. It puts the big picture in proper perspective. It's definitely time for Jews to get our priorities in order. What a great way to go into Shabbat. All I can say in reply is "More, please!"

In the same spirit as this piece, my best friend in the world just posted a new Facebook site calling for us to reinstitute the mitzvah of the korban Pesach ("Bring the Passover Offering"). I hope people visit and 'Like' to show support for the things that really matter.
