Chuck Hagel For SOD:

A former decorated enlisted man, Chuck Hagel’s appointment as Secretary of Defense will be a great morale booster for the members of our military; setting this precedent instills higher trust in the current administration by our soldiers and sailors, because they know Chuck Hagel has been there, has been down in the trenches, and fought heroically; enlisted military personnel may reassess their individual career goals with him as a role model in this position of great responsibility; Hagel is familiar with Congress while being a Pentagon outsider: Without doubt he will shake some branches, clean house and eject the flotsam and jetsam; reduce the bloated Pentagon budget; and, he will restructure the Pentagon as the Afghan War ends, and our soldiers return to civilian life.

As a former supporter of the (ersatz) WOMD Iraq War, he watched, listened and learned over the years what an egregious decision was made by that administration, and was not afraid to say so, even when it meant a public criticism of those involved and backlash from his own party; and, he favored a proposal to have our troops ordered stateside from Afghanistan once bin Laden was neutralized.

Hagel does support Israel in her fight to remain a free and peaceful nation: He does not support sending our sons and daughters, our best and our brightest, into harm’s way once again, with a boots on the ground war with Iran.

All of the above, plus the fact that Hagel has a close personal and “on the same page” working relationship with our President and Commander In Chief, Barack Obama, makes it clear that there is no better candidate for Secretary of Defense than Chuck Hagel.

I'd say that were losing the nuclear prevention game. Today in New York we have helicopters flying around taking radiation measurements so that it "may" be easier to find a dirty bomb in the future. If I lived in New York city, I'd be thinking about moving. Iran may not have built a bomb as of yet and may not have it small enough to put on a missile(yet). But, if we wait long enough? Of course they could get the bomb and if not, just think of all of the worry we will have over dirty bombs? It matters who you elect as President and who he will appoint to offices of National importance. Hagel is the wrong man for America's best interests, but then again, so is Pres Obama. This is just part of an ever increasing story about how God said things are going to be in the latter days. The entire middle east moves from problem to problem. Assad the dictator of Syria remains in power and Iran continues unwavering on it’s march in the development of nuclear weapons. Current intelligence seems uncertain of when Iran will get the bomb and Israel cannot afford to gamble with this. Will the Syrian stock pile of Chemical and Biological agents fall into terrorist hands or is Syria preparing to use them? We also have a touchy cease fire in Gaza and not surprisingly, Egypt has broken it's part of the deal by kicking the overseers out. This has all now been added to the list of issues in this region. If this situation does not drastically change soon for the better, I believe the war in Isaiah Chapter 17 will likely take place. Damascus Syria would be destroyed. The worlds economy would likely collapse as a result and usher in a one world government movement. I wrote a small 6 page book that outlines what I believe the Bible states will take place soon. I don’t accept donations and it’s free. It’s a short read. I encourage you to have a look: http://www.booksie.com/religion_and_spirituality/book/richard_b_barnes/after-the-rapture-whats-next/chapter/1.
