Yep on the Kotel and the Jewish Quarter, not too mention many neighborhoods But... that is the the thing, there is not even the "implication" of peace. There is an acceptance of Two Palestinian States, One run by Fateh and the other by Hamas, and that is that. NOTHING, Hamas has said or done recognizes Israel. Ever.

This is just another attempt as Khalid Meshaal once said "To influence the West". It is nothing more.

The part that goes unmentioned here is that even assuming, for a moment, that Hamas is dead serious and there is some implied recognition of Israel, this is a peace deal that would never be made. By its very definition it would place the Kotel in Palestine and force Jews out from the Jewish Quarter. While I am an American, as a Jew I would choose the status quo over that deal. Palestinians, and everyone else, must accept that that land has always been, currently is and will always be, Jewish land.

As for what Hamas is really saying, I agree with you that they just want Israel to withdraw so they can pickup from what the Arab governments were trying to do before June 5, 1967.
