I think you might find that the majority of the world do not regard Jerusalem as the capital including the USA – your biggest ally. The BBC are just reporting the facts. Did you catch that when Clive called him a 'security man'. Think about how twisted you have to be to work at BBC.
The US, EU, UN have already made a deal with the devil who wants Israel erased post haste and there is no reasoning with them or changing their now darkened minds.

It should be easy to understand what motivates the US, EU and the UN by their abject failure, impotence, lip service to end the Muslim on Muslim genocide going on in Syria for 20 months now with thousands of dead women, children, civilians.
Little outnumbered Israel is much easier to intimidate and push around than Bashar Assad.
This is not about stopping Hamas but stopping Israel.
The object is no matter what threat Israel faces is to restrain Israel and keep the tiny infidel nation from ever defeating another Arab army ever again.
Their concern is not civilian casualties as witnessed by Syria but to save the Arab/Islamic world from losing face to another crushing defeat by a very tiny non Muslim nation in their midst whom they have no intention of making peace with and every open intention of destroying with the help of 'ceasefires' and their partners, the US, EU, Russia and UN.
