I still find it impossible to call any area of the West Bank 'Palestinian' land until a honest evaluaton is conducted of all land that once made up the original Ottoman and British Mandates--meaning the inclusion of Trans-Jordan whch, BTW, never belonged to the Hashemites and was a political move by the British. A Palestine consisting of Jordan plus some of the West Bank is the only fair solution. All Mid East borders are artifical, and Israel must work for secure borders that allow for population growth as well as access to holy sights. As for the Palestianians, they must take back Jordan and look at some link with Syria which was the original Palestian goal.

The comparison between the Bab al-Shams activists and the settlers should not be extended too far. One obvious difference is that the Palestinians were building on their own land, whereas Israel is breaking international law in allowing hundreds of thousands of settlers to move into the West Bank.
