Counting the dead is a great way of encouraging the making of peace, Unfortunately you do just the opposite - why ? Don't you understand that we must split the land ? Is that so difficult to get into your head that if we don't the kiling won't stop ? I cannot guarantee you the the killing will stop if we do compromise but there certainly is a reasonable chance and in addition, we will then be fighting from a position of moral strength and internaitonal legitimacy and support.

well, there's always something called the original Menachem Begin Autonomy Plan. Or no foreign armed forces west of the Jordan. Remember, just because Arabs reject Israelis suggestions, doesn't mean they are either wrong or not workable. For example, if one element of peace is "territorial compromise", why is it always Israel that must compromise? After all, in addition to tango, peace takes two. As for turning backs by western world, - been there, done that. We cannot place too much hope on that that would affect our own conception of what our security needs are for if the west does collapse, what will assure us it won't do it again, on a "better" human rights issue like "right of return"?

And, if I've mentioned "rights", no matter what, if Israel does not stream a message that the Jewish people have rights, no conversation, wither with the Arabs or the West, will be productive. Do to that lack of streaming, always the Arabs side gets the benefit.

Since we're exchanging facts...how many Israelis were killed in the 5 years after the signing of Oslo vs the number of Israelis killed in the 15 years prior? How many rockets were fired into Israel after the Gaza expulsion? How many wars did Israel fight after the Gaza expulsion? Land for "peace" has certainly bearing a lot of fruit. And you failed to answer my question from another thread - are you creating a new legal precedent in international law or just one law for Israel to follow and another law for other countries?
