In a word: nonsense. The settlements are not the issue. They were withdrawn from Sinai and Gaza. In Judea and Samaria most settlement construction is in blocs which Israel has always intended to keep. Those are the "land swaps" you write about. They don't prevent a two state solution in any way.

All correct Lyn but here is the problem. While Apartheid week and the founders of the BDS movement strive to delegitimize the state of Israel and thus unleash the sanctions weapon, Israel itself blunders directly into the Apartheid trap http://blogs.timesofisrael.com/the-apartheid-pillory-tempting-fate/ We have a clear choice here: either to accept the 67 borders with equitable land swaps or to allow the status quo to determine a long term full-tilt national presence in occupied territory. These last four years have seen a considerable spike in settlement in areas designated for a future Palestinian state, making mockery of publicly stated intentions of a two-state solution and by default creating a greater Israel wherein one person-one vote cannot and will not exist. This is the single greatest threat to long term sustainability. It is national harakiri and the Apartheid cliff looms ahead. It is a Jewish, Zionist, democratic interest to freeze all settlement forthwith and start working hard at negotiation.
