The highlight for everyone on Yom Haatzmaut is the Airshow Flyover but figuring out what time it will happen is always a mystery, especially if you don’t read Hebrew.

This year we are expecting a big show for Israel’s 70th birthday. The best location to see the show in Jerusalem is Gan Sacher since the planes will fly directly overhead.

The beaches across the country will also have front row seats especially for the aerobatic displays.

The times may change slightly due to weather or changes made by the airforce but don’t worry there is a phone app for that in the Start Up Nation.

For the most up to date times check out this great app which gives you information about the planes and will report live to let you know where they are flying

***These times are subject to change based on weather or the Air Force decisions so make sure to check the app.

  • KKL-JNF will be showing a special Yom Haatzmaut video display on the outside of their building on King George. April 15-19 (not on Tuesday night).

  • Psik Theater will be performing two great shows for Yom Haatzmaut – Madame Prime Minister (story of Golda Meir) & the Unbelievable Story of Jerusalem (multimedia). Hebrew
