Great post. I was in awe at my 4yo's birthday party at gan with what the brachot that the other children wished for him. "May you raise a healthy family" "May you see the beit hamikdash rebuilt in your lifetime" "May you continue to climb the ladder of good middot". Ashreinu shezachinu.

When we had a meeting for our children who were going to Poland, we had to bring a gift for them to take with them. The gift I chose was totally inappropriate, and we had to present it publicly. Lesson learned.
