Israel’s Davos Begins Next Week

December 4, 2014, 10:06 am

Next week Globes is hosting its annual Israel Business Conference 2014 where VIP’s from all over the world will convene to discuss some very important issues that impact global affairs – and it’s all about Israel.

As you know Davos is a sophisticated event that takes place every year on a snowy mountain in Switzerland. Since the most influential people in the world attend, the whole world follows what goes on there through live interviews and working up a Twitter storm throughout.

Hopefully one day soon Israel will achieve the same level of positive coverage instead of the whole world discussing our failing government and all the back-stabbing going on in our capital at the moment. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could be the source of good forces in the world instead the entire world watching this very public meltdown of our government?

It is very important to me that positive coverage comes out of Israel. That is why I am taking a full TV crew to the Globes conference to conduct English and Hebrew interviews.

I am looking forward to the panels with David J. Rothkopf, CEO and Editor, Foreign Policy Group, dealing with Israel’s image abroad such as:

The Middle East Global Crisis

In The Eye Of The Diplomatic Storm – How The World Views Israel

Israel Through Foreign Eyes

The Cooperative Economy panel with Hila Oren, CEO, Tel Aviv Global & Tourism, is another session I’m really looking forward to.

When: Sunday-Monday, December 7-8, 2014
Where: David InterContinental Hotel, Tel Aviv

The annual Israel Business Conference is the leading economic event in Israel. Each year, it brings together Israel’s leaders, key world economic players, scholars, decision-makers, top executives, and diplomats, as well as promising young innovators and entrepreneurs. The two-day conference will be attended by more than 4,000 participants from Israel and all over the world.

Globes collaborates with the World Economic Forum, MIT, INSEAD and Milken Institute, which develop some of the content for conference panels and send speakers. Globes is also the media partner of the Financial Times, Advertising Age and Market Watch.
