Ishmael, as well as Isaac, was at the Akeidah and Ishmael and Isaac jointly buried their father Abraham in Hebron. We still share the iconoclastic and  pure monotheism, and should be capable of living in peace. For the Akeida see Rashi on Gen.22.3. For the burial of Abraham, see Gen. 25.9]]></description>
