Kingdom of Priests

Korach contested the Priesthood of Aaron with the following famous statement:

כִּי כָל-הָעֵדָה כֻּלָּם קְדֹשִׁים, וּבְתוֹכָם יְהוָה …all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them…(Num 16:3)

According to Arizal, Korach’s statement is correct, except the time has not fully come, as it is written:

צַדִּיק, כַּתָּמָר יִפְרָח; כְּאֶרֶז בַּלְּבָנוֹן יִשְׂגֶּה The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. (Psalm 92:13)

According to Arizal, the secret of this verse is about Korach, who is considered a Tzadik (the righteous) in the future, not for his rebellion but rather for his statement that the entire congregation is holy. This is because the final three letters of צַדִּיק, כַּתָּמָר יִפְרָח spell Korach קֹרַח, and the average number of the verse is 1848 / 6 = 308, which is exactly the gematria of Korach קֹרַח.

If the entire congregation is holy, why is it that the priesthood was given to the sons of Aaron? This is exactly Korach’s challenge to Moses, as it is well known that the children of Israel were divided into three categories:

The Priest
The Levi
And Israel
  678

678 is exactly the gematria of “All the congregation are holy” כָל-הָעֵדָה כֻּלָּם קְדֹשִׁים, which is the argument of Korach, meaning, the divisions of the Priest, the Levi and Israel is a temporary solution to the Sin of the Golden Calf, and the original plan is the Kingdom of Priests for the entire congregation, as it is written:

וְאַתֶּם תִּהְיוּ-לִי מַמְלֶכֶת כֹּהֲנִים and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests… (Ex 19:6)

This pre-Aaronic priesthood was prototyped in Melchizedek who was called the Priest of the Most High God (Gen 14:18), which is further revealed by King David as the “Eternal Priest after the Order of Melchizedek” כֹהֵן לְעוֹלָם;עַל-דִּבְרָתִי, מַלְכִּי-צֶדֶק (Psalm 110:4).

The gematria:

Priest of the Most High God
Eternal Priest after the Order of Melchizedek
  1563

Astonishingly, 1563 is exactly the gematria of the verse below regarding the promise of Kingdom of Priests:

וְאַתֶּם תִּהְיוּ-לִי מַמְלֶכֶת כֹּהֲנִים and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests… (Ex 19:6)

This comes to teach us the pre-Aaronic priesthood was the original plan which was intended for each one of the congregation, exactly as Korach claimed, which is known as the Order of Melchizedek.

Melchizedek is called the King of Righteousness and King of Peace (Hebrew 7:2), the Hebrew phrase has a gematria of 750, exactly 10 times of the gematria of Priest כֹּהֵן which is 75:

King of Righteousness
King of Peace
  750

The prototype of Melchizedek was revealed as Mashiach’s Priesthood in Heaven (Hebrew 8:3), the gematria of “Mashiach in Heaven” מָּשִׁיחַ בַּשָּׁמַיִם is also 750.

Secret of Selah

Parashat Korach is about the secret of Priesthood, there are exactly 95 verses in the Parashah, and 95 is the gematria of Selah סֶלָה, which the secret of Kingdom of Priests.

There are two primary divine names, YHVH (יְהוִה) and YHYH (יִהְיֶה). According to Arizal, YHVH is of the order of this world and YHYH is of the order of next world.

This world is of the Order of Aaron, and next word is of the Order of Melchizedek.

In the Order of Aaron, the unification of the divine names YHVH and Adonai is known as Amen אָמֵן, which is used to conclude a blessing or a prayer, the gematria for both is 91, as follows:

YHVH יְהוִה 26
Adonai
  91

91 is the triangle number of 13, where 13 is the gematria of one אֶחָד, i.e. the unification.

In the Messianic Age, YHVH will be revealed as YHYH, in that the letter Vav (ו) will be elevated to Yud (י).  Vav is the Son, and Yud is the father, this is well established, as it is written:

וְהָיָה יְהוָה לְמֶלֶךְ, עַל-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ; בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, יִהְיֶה יְהוָה אֶחָד–וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד And the LORD shall be King over all the earth; in that day shall the LORD be One, and His name one. (Zech 14:9)

When YHVH is revealed as YHYH and unified with Adonai, the gematria is 95, exactly the gematria of Selah סֶלָה, which is the secret of Selah, as follows:

YHYH יִהְיֶה 30
Adonai
  95

For this reason Parashat Korach has 95 verses, alluding to the unification of YHYH and Adonai in the secret of Selah, the Order of Melchizedek, when the entire congregation is holy, only then will the claim of Korach be true, but not before.

The word Selah סֶלָה serves a similar function as Amen which is used to conclude a blessing or a prayer, which appears 71 times in the Psalms and 3 times in Habakkuk, for a total of 75 times less 1, and 75 is the gematria of Kohen כֹהֵן, Priest.

Amen appears 33 times and Selah appears 75 times less 1 in the Hebrew Bible. If Selach were to appear 75 times, the union of Amen and Selah would be: 33 + 75 = 108, which is exactly the gematria of: יִהְיֶה אֲדֹנָי אֶחָד, meaning: YHYH and Adonai is one.

This comes to teach us that that the word Selah is meant to appear 75 times, albeit it appears 74 times in the Hebrew Bible, the missing one is the secret that is yet to be revealed, to complete the priesthood known as “Order of Melchizedek” דִּבְרָתִי, מַלְכִּי-צֶדֶק, the gematria of this phrase is 910, which is exactly 10 times of Amen אָמֵן.

The secret of Selah סֶלָה can be revealed by its three possible spellings out, as follows:

Hey spelled out with Alef
Hey spelled out with Hey
Hey spelled out with Yud
  613

613 alludes to the 613 commandments of Torah which will be fully revealed in the Messianic Age.

The spelling out of Amen אָמֵן has a gematria of 297, as follows:

Amen אָמֵן spelled out with Alef אלף מם נון 297

And the union of Amen (spelled out) and Selah (spelled out) is:

613 + 297 = 910

910 is the gematria of Amen (91) times 10, this comes to teach us that Amen culminates in union with Selah, which is the same gematria of “Order of Melchizedek” דִּבְרָתִי, מַלְכִּי-צֶדֶק, as it is written:

נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה, וְלֹא יִנָּחֵם– אַתָּה-כֹהֵן לְעוֹלָם;עַל-דִּבְרָתִי, מַלְכִּי-צֶדֶק The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent: ‘Thou art a priest for ever, after the Order of Melchizedek.’ (Psalm 110:4)

This comes to teach us that the Order of Melchizedek is of a higher order and will be revealed with the unification of YHYH and Adonai in the secret of Selah.

The spelling out of “YHYH and YHVH is One” in gematria is 1075, as follows:

YHYH and YHVH is one

1075 is exactly the gematria of Israel spelled out, as follows:

Israel

This comes to teach us that in the Messianic Age according to the secret of Selah, Israel will reign with Mashiach as kings and priests (Rev 5:10), in order to fulfill the promise of Kingdom of Priest, in the order of Melchizedek.

Finally, Selah סֶלָה in “Atbash” is חכ”ץ, the gematria is 118, the gematria of High Priest כֹּהֵן גָּדוֹל. Selah סֶלָהin “Albam” is דא”ע, the gematria is 75, the gematria of Priest כֹהֵן. It is clear that the secret of Selah is the secret of Priest.

Aaron’s Rod

The budding rod symbolizes the resurrection from the dead. In the same way Aaron’s priesthood was confirmed by the dead rod that budded, so was Mashiach’s priesthood confirmed by the resurrection from the dead.

And it shall come to pass, that the man whom I shall choose, his rod shall bud (Num 17:5)

His rod shall bud מַטֵּהוּ יִפְרָח in gematria is 358, the gematria of Mashiach מָּשִׁיחַ.

The budding involved three stages according to Num 17:8:

Flower
Bud
Almonds
  932

This is exactly the gematria of “tree of knowledge of good and evil” עֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָע, hence the budding rod symbolizes the tree of life which is the rectification of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Mashiach is the Tree of Life who is called at the simple level the Tree of the Field:

כִּי הָאָדָם עֵץ הַשָּׂדֶה For Man is the tree of the field (Deu 20:19)

Mashiach is called the “trunk” of Jesse:

וְיָצָא חֹטֶר, מִגֵּזַע יִשָׁי; וְנֵצֶר מִשָּׁרָשָׁיו יִפְרֶה And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a twig shall grow forth out of his roots (Isaiah 11:1)

Mashiach is also called the “root” of Jesse:

וְהָיָה, בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, שֹׁרֶשׁ יִשַׁי אֲשֶׁר עֹמֵד לְנֵס עַמִּים, אֵלָיו גּוֹיִם יִדְרֹשׁוּ; וְהָיְתָה מְנֻחָתוֹ, כָּבוֹד And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse, that standeth for an ensign of the peoples, unto him shall the nations seek; and his resting-place shall be glorious (Isaiah 11:10)

Root grows into trunk, trunk grows into branch, and branch grows into flower and fruit:

Root
Trunk
Branch
Flower
Fruit
  1658

1658 is exactly the name of Yeshua revealed progressively and regressively, as follows:

Yeshua
Revealing and concealing

The five parts (i.e. root, trunk, branch, flower, fruit) at the collective level is called a tree, the gematria of treeעֵץ  is 160, hence:

1658 (parts) + 160 (whole) = 1818

1818 is exactly the word Mashiach revealed progressively and regressively, as follows:

Mashiach
Revealing and concealing

This comes to teach us that the budding rod of Aaron symbolizes the resurrection of Yeshua HaMashiach from the dead.

Secret of Priesthood

Priest is called Kohen כֹהֵן in Hebrew. The word has three letters, the first two letters are Koh כֹּה, meaning: this, corresponding to the lower level of prophecy when the vision is not clear, the gematria is 25; the final letter is a Nun, the gematria is 50, corresponding to the 50 gates of understanding, i.e. clear vision, hence Kohen represents the progression of prophecy from translucency to transparency, the secret of “part” (25) and “whole” (50), for 25 is exactly half of 50.

Priesthood in Hebrew is כֹהֲנִים, the gematria is 125, which is 5 to the 3rd power.

Aaron and his sons were given the Priesthood after sin of the Golden Calf (rabbinical), but paradoxically Aaron was the prime suspect for the Molten Calf (Ex 32:4) which in Hebrew is עֵגֶל מַסֵּכָה. The word for “molten” מַסֵּכָה has the same gematria 125 as the priesthood, for Aaron was given the priesthood because of the molten calf.

Interestingly, the final two letters of מַסֵּכָה share the same two letters (כה) of priest כֹּהֵן, i.e. the level of clouded prophecy. The remaining gematria for Priest is 50, which is twice the gematria of 25, and the remaining gematria for Molten is 100, which is twice the gematria of 50, as follows:

Molten
Priest
  50 25 100

6 is the number of Olam HaZeh, 7 is the number of Messianic Age, 8 is the number of Olam HaBa, and 9 is the number of Truth, this is well established elsewhere.

Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל in ordinal number is 64, which is 2 to the 6th power.

High Priest הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל in gematria is 128, which is 2 to the 7th power.

Aaron אַהֲרֹן in gematria is 256, which is 2 to the 8th power.

Mashiach of the Living God מָּשִׁיחַ אֱלֹהִים חַיִּים in gematria is 512, which is 2 to the 9th power.

The progression of ascent is clear: from the opacity of the common Israel, the prophecy is advanced to the level of the High Priest in general and Aaron in particular at the level of translucency, until it culminates at the level of transparency by Mashiach in the Order of Melchizedek.

Now the sin of the Golden Calf was rectified by Ehud ben Gera אֵהוּד בֶּן-גֵּרָא, who killed עֶגְלוֹן, Eglon (Judge 3:14), this is because Eglon עֶגְלוֹן means the small Calf עֵגֶל, Egel, and ben Gera בֶּן-גֵּרָא has the same gematria (256) of Aaron, so Ehud symbolizes the Son of Aaron that rectified the sin of Aaron by killing the small Calf.

Astonishingly, the gematria of the priestly family is designed to follow the formula of n^4:

Ehud (symbolic son of Aaron)
Nadav Avihu (two dead sons)
Aaron
They made molten calf (Ex 32:4)
Aaron, Nadav, Avihu Eleazar, Ithamar (father and 4 sons)

We can now understand this cryptic verse about the Priesthood of Melchizedek, which is revealed in the Book of Hebrew 7:17 as the secret of the Priesthood of Mashiach:

נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה, וְלֹא יִנָּחֵם– אַתָּה-כֹהֵן לְעוֹלָם;עַל-דִּבְרָתִי, מַלְכִּי-צֶדֶק The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent: ‘Thou art a priest for ever, after the Order of Melchizedek.’ (Psalm 110:4)

The gematria of this verse is 2260, which is 5 x 452, and 452 is the gematria of Yeshua ben David, i.e. the name of Mashiach.

Now in the order of Melchizedek Mashiach is called “our Priest”, כֹהֲנֵינוּ, which in gematria is 141:

2260 + 141 = 2401

2401 is exactly number 7 to the 4th power, the Priesthood next in line, following the formula of n^4, as discussed above.

If we take one step further and substitute Mashiach for the “you” in Psalm 110:4:

מָּשִׁיחַ כֹהֵן לְעוֹלָם;עַל-דִּבְרָתִי, מַלְכִּי-צֶדֶק Mashiach is the priest forever, after the Order of Melchizedek

The gematria is 1619, which is the 257th prime number, with 256 being the gematria of Aaron אַהֲרֹן, it stands to reason that Mashiach in the Order of Melchizedek (257th prime) is that which follows the Order of Aaron (256), for 257 follows 256 in order.
