Emily, apparently whatever you are referring to so mysteriously made quite an impression on you for you to make this comment. I freely admit that sometimes I argue passionately and sometimes I have let the desire to prove a point overshadow my own tact. But I have never set out to offend someone personally. Ilan, I don't think the Palestinian issue is going to be the first order of the day. There are common denominators than need to be taken care of between all the main players specifically regarding national service and the appropriation of funds in a more equitable manner. Having said that I would like to believe that the social welfare pet-project of Judea and Samaria which gets anything it asks for will finally learn the meaning of the word "no" and that the tail finally understands that it is a tail and that it is the dog that wags the tail, not the tail that wags the dog.

Here is some homework for you, Yonatan Knickerbocker, go see the Gatekeepers and see what Yaakov Peri, number 5 on Lapid's list has to say together with all the other heads of the shin bet these last few years. Fanatical advocators such as you who suggest holding onto growing Palestinian masses all for a few dunams of land which is not yours to start with, will bring the people of Israel shame and destruction. The mask has finally been lifted, the ultra extremists just got booted out of the Knesset and the Greater Israel propagators that remain have a problem.

Easy bet that even Lapid as FM (oy) would re-start negotiations with Abbas as the deal breaker will be the same as with Netanyahu. A building freeze was in place for half a year with no negotiations. Abbas will do the same in the future as well. He is trying to establish the results by forcing one Israeli concession after the next, then take the package and leave the refugees and end of conflict open for the next round of extortion.

That's not a reality. You have pushed those that don't agree with annexation but under no circumstance want to give any more land to our enemies into your category, which clearly they are not. The majority in Israel understand that giving land for peace doesn't and won't work. Pay attention to what Lapid says about it.

In fact the reality is clear: A dozen knesset members from Bennet's party together with a dozen fanatics in Likud Beiteina summarises for us the real percentage of people who want to annex the West Bank and create the new apartheid state. That represents about 20 percent of Israelis who see real estate and biblical entitlement as more important than long term survival and the sustainability of the a Jewish democratic state. The challenge now is how to remove them from the decision making process.
