Yep, we sang "cat's in the cupboard" too – I think my mum sang it as a girl in the 1950s. But I'm pretty sure that the other song you mention we sang at Purim. it;s the one that starts "Leytan katan nechmad, rokedem kol echad" about a nice little clown who dances with with everyone.

If I am mum no 2, does that make me 'good enough' compared to mum no 1 being rubbish and mum no 3 supermum? Good enough has always been my aspiration! Otherwise how can my kids try to be a better parent than me?
