Ravi - what part of "there were NO Palestinians" in Maale Adumim do you not understand? You can't ethnically cleanse something that isn't there. Please focus - barren hills means NO PEOPLE, NO HOMES, NO VILLAGES...in stark contrast to what was done to the Jews in Arab lands...now there's an example of ethnic cleansing that I'm sure you, in your quest to be honest and fair, won't deny, right?

From the outset, I made it clear that my children would not be photographed or used in any way. They asked to film in my house (no); they asked to film me coming from my house just outside (no). I agreed to meet them near the makolet in my neighborhood and then "greet" the presenter in a park...as if I was just hanging out there gazing off into the distance. Despite the staging, he was actually a very pleasant person and I enjoyed the day - all of them made it easy to follow the directions and though we had to do some thing several times, they apologized that it was "television" and it was fun. As I said - I gave them the colors...it's up to them to paint it.

Well, if their "Arab Leadership" claimed they were starting "A war of extermination" and will you please get out of the way until we're done, and then they find themselves on the losing side... Cry me a river.

Ask the Czech if they want to give the Sudetenland back to the Germans. Or the Poles if they want to give back Silesia or Pomerania to the Germans. Or the Russians if they want to give East Prussia back. My guess is the answer will be "k yebyeny mat" or whatever the Polish or Russian equivalents are.

Then the 6 day war happened, followed by Sadats visit to Tel Aviv... that changed the reality... Israel had been accepted as a reality, so the 2 state solution became the answer to the Palestinians woes. Palestine and Israel within the 67 borders.... Just what Israel wanted before 67.... but then after that Israel moved the goal posts. Israel now also wanted chunks of the W Bank and E Jerusalem. What was Israels biggest victory, ie the peace with Egypt , was not followed up and built upon, and instead gave way to even greater hatred towards Israel. The world has lost sympathy for Israel, which at one time was the victim.. today the world looks at the Palestinians as the victims. What was acceptable to the Israelis before 67 is no longer acceptable, just because the won the 67 war? It now seems to be a classic case of Israel having won the battle, but lost the war. It won the battle but lost the peace... increasingly de legitimising itself in the eyes of the world. It is this de legitimisation which is the biggest threat to Israels future rather than Iran or Hamas or Hibollah. Sad

You just never know what they'll do. I've personally had a bad experience with this. Had a reporter and photographer stay in my caravan and interview us over the course of a few days, thought we created a bond, but no. In the end, they didn't manage to get their story printed, but did manage to sell the photo of my husband pointing his M16 at some unseen target, which ended up being reused by every anti-Israel story in the Guardian for the course of a decade. Better luck to you.

Another time, a guy interviewed us but then wanted my entire family to pose and that wasn't something my kids would have appreciated. Turns out that without a photo of my humongous family, his story wasn't a story. He was upset.

Hi Clap - that's why I posted now, in advance what I said - and we'll see what they do with it. I truly hope this one time, they won't distort the image of what they received last week. I spoke to each of the people - the aide, the producer and the presenter...each said in very positive terms that they want to let Israel speak for itself. I was told, clearly, they couldn't and wouldn't "give Israel a free ride" - and I responded that I don't expect or even want them to - I just want the truth. Here's hoping....
