Stalin may have killed millions of Russians but he didn't kill them because they were Russians. Mao may have killed millions of Chinese but he didn't kill them because they were Chinese. The Jews and the gypsies died because they were Jews and gypsies. There is a difference!

What you say is absolutely true, as most also forget the facts of the enormous part plated by the Red Army in stopping Hitler killing machine cold. But this is a Jewish journal and your indignation while meant well needs not to pit the memories one series of horrors against another by diminishing the scale of the most horrific even in all of Jewish history, that as the author points out is still forever hovering in the wings of the European stage for an encore performance by a new generation od bigots and anti-Semites. This article and so many like it totally ignore the fact that Joseph Stalin and Mao Tse-tung were the most ruthless killers of their own people in the 20th Century, and perhaps in the entire history of mankind.

They were responsible for the world’s deadliest holocausts—or the mass destruction of human beings—yet their victims have never been identified or honored. It is time for the silent voices of those who died to be heard, and for these human tragedies of epic proportions to be recognized fully.

Enough is enough!
