Sorry. Iran rules the Palestinians. If you feel the way you do about the Palestinians, renounce Israeli citizenship and vote in Iran. You will have more impact there.

Youre an exception. Most Israelis, lulled into denial as they have by Netanyahu, seem oblivious to the Palestinians suffering, which in turn is the greatest threat to Israels future.

It is arrogant to think that whether we want peace with the Palestinians or not will bring it, when the Palestinians won't compromise enough to ensure our Jewish and Democratic state remains a permanent fixture here. It's not our job to convince ourselves they want peace, that's their job. Whomever we vote for, if the Palestinians want peace they'll find an outstretched hand on our side that also wants it. Until then, we have other issues that we can actually do something about, so it makes sense to not raise "the other" to the primacy you recommend we raise it to.
