I think that by the end of his term he will out himself as Muslim. He stated in his book that if push came to shove against islam, he would side with it.

The failed extremist left camp are busy with their attack and slander machine because they've lost a little ground in the Likud. All they have with their lies and slander are failed policies and people are waking up to the reality that retreat has gotten Israel into this mess.
They've tried retreat and it failed, they tried goodwill gestures and appeasement and the Palestinians want more.
The failed left and the soft, sappy right are feeding and keeping Hamas healthy and strong and yet the international community are not satisfied with Israel's generous insanity.
The time is long overdue for another approach , one of firm resolve and not always capitulating under minimal pressure as Israel has been doing for too long. It is not a sin to say NO to to the U.S. when their demands are demented and yet the Livni left and the Netanyhau saps are incapable of standing up with strength and resolve and putting an end to the failed international agenda of appeasing evil on Israel's back.
Israel's weakness and timidity has only brought contempt and constant abuse , not the respect the elite politicos' of Israel assumed it would bring. Time to grow some sharp teeth and take the 'KICK ME 'sign off your back.
I'm very encouraged by the fall of those like Meridor and Begin and the rise of the Danon's and Feiglin's.

Others on these pages have argued that somebody who learned Chicago-style political racketeering from the Daley machine is basically applying these same policies in Washington, and has basically set up Morsi as a racketeering boss.
It is not unlike his domestic policy. But for the latter, the bills will come due soon, since he does not own the proverbial "donkey that excretes money". That which cannot go on forever, won't. When the financial house of cards will finally collapse, the only silver lining I can see is that left-liberalism will be discredited even with the Honey Boo Boo voter.
Yet on some days I fear the US is past the same point where the Roman Republic ceased to be the Republic — due in no small measure to people caring about nothing but state-provided "panem et circenses" (bread and circuses).

I must disagree.

Obama is self-declared as a Christian, not a Muslim.

The ideological roots of his behavior go back not to the Koran, but to western post-colonial theory. It goes to Rashid Khalidi and Edward Said.

It is established that the Leftists cannot be counted on. I may be in the minority, but see Hamas coming out of this in a weakened position.

Israel enjoyed unusual international support from this episode, from the US, the EU and others.

The opening is there to expose the war crimes of Hamas and the complicity of the media to be sucked into the bash Israel mode that increases profits, but people see with their eyes what goes on, and the disconnect between what many tell us and what we see grows.
