At least since the wind-up to the Israeli elections, President Obama has been on the warpath against Israel and specifically against Prime Minister Netanyahu. Among the Obama accusations are obstruction of the peace process and conducting spy operations against the U.S.

While Obama did not invent “The Big Lie” against Israel, he has used its principles effectively. Along with his skillful use of the community organizing tactics of his mentor Saul Alinsky, Obama has made valiant covert and overt attempts to undermine and weaken Israel. Obama’s malicious innuendo fuses false accusations and veiled threats with open hostility toward the Zionist nation and its leaders.

In recent weeks, Obama’s henchman and Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, spoke at a J Street conference declaring, “Israel must end its 50-year occupation of Palestine.” The Christian Science Monitor asserts that Obama seems ever more inclined to criticize Israel in the press. Fox News and the Associate Press report that Obama warned Netanyahu of causing the ‘downward spiral’ of peace talks.

Only in a fit of dementia could Obama have maintained a hope for successful “peace talks” given the intransigence of the Palestinian Authority and the hostility of Hamas.

Obama’s attitude toward Israel is not surprising given his twenty-year history at the feet of Jeremiah Wright, the vitriolic Chicago Black Liberation pastor, who’s weekly preaching stirs up violent hatred of America, Israel, whites and Jews.

In the early days of his presidency, Obama could hardly afford to publicly declare his vendetta against Israel — after all, his donor base has an influential Jewish component, and Jewish lobbying groups like AIPAC have kept him at least outwardly responsive to Israel’s interests.

Obama covert tactics however have never been far from the surface: disinformation; inversion; deception; demonization are all tactics of “The Big Lie” and Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.
With one hand Obama asserts that Israel is America’s important ally; with the other, he instigates leaks and underhanded schemes to undermine Israel at every turn.

In 2009, President Obama told Jewish leaders that he was deliberately adopting a policy of putting daylight between America and Israel and indeed he has done that.

In 2012 Arutz Sheva reported:

The Obama administration is blaming Israel for the recent rise in global crude oil prices, according to a Sunday report in The World Tribune. The rise in fuel prices is deemed as harming the U.S. economy and has also hurt Obama in the polls as he seeks re-election in November.

The report cited a leading U.S. analyst, Robert Satloff, who returned from talks with Israeli officials. Satloff, executive director of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, said, according to The World Tribune, that the Israeli leadership saw Washington as attributing the higher gas prices to “Israel’s posturing” on Iran.

“They think the Iranians should be held responsible for the higher gasoline prices,” Satloff was quoted as having said. He added that the officials told him the Obama administration was staging a campaign to undermine Israel…..

“I cannot underscore how deep and visceral the [Israeli] comments of the leaking that came out of Washington were,” Satloff said, noting Israel is alarmed by what officials determined were leaks by the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama of purported Israeli preparations to attack Iran.

The Israeli concerns come in the wake of a report in Foreign Policy magazine last week, according to which Israel has purchased an airfield in Azerbaijan on Iran’s northern border, prompting the United States to watch very closely.

According to the World Tribune ( Aug.1, 2013)

“The U.S. intelligence community leaked information on Israeli air strikes on Syria, sources said.

Diplomats said the administration of President Barack Obama has enabled the intelligence community to disclose Israeli military operations against the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad. They said the leaks included unreported Israeli air and naval strikes on advanced Iranian and Russian weapons that arrived in 2013”.

In 2014 Jerusalem Post reported that Israel is causing the criticism of Obama:

“A US official close to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry said both men are disturbed over what is being perceived in their inner circle as ‘Jewish activism in Congress’ that they think is being encouraged by the Israeli government, Israel Radio reported on Thursday.”

Just in time to remind us about how far down the rabbit hole Obama has brought us, the president came out of the closet just before the Israeli elections with his swords drawn to lead the charge against Israel. By planting powerful anti-Netanyahu operatives in Israel to influence the elections, Obama has finally and unequivocally made his intentions clear.
