Shaul Avta is a 27-year-old Israeli man who has been missing for a week. He was last seen in Jerusalem on Sunday November 29, and has not been heard from since. The police are currently investigating, but with every passing day the chances of finding him decrease. You can see a call for assistance posted a few days ago at this link. (Hebrew)
His friends have come together this past week to pool information, investigate leads and search for him in places he is known to frequent, but now seek to use professional detectives and search parties in order to increase the likelihood of finding him.
Given the immediate need for these services, we are asking the public for help in raising funds. We are hoping that friends, friends of friends, acquaintances and other kind-hearted people might be able to spare some financial assistance for this very worthy cause. You can currently donate at this link. (Hebrew)

Shaul is dearly loved by many. Born to a religious family, he eventually chose to seek out a different path and served in the Golani Brigade of the IDF. His friends and family hope to do whatever it takes to find him and ensure he is safe.
Obviously, if anyone sees him or has any relevant information, please pass it along!
Also, if you are able and willing to donate your time, to fundraise or to join the search, please text Pesach Eilberg: 050 265 3456 with your information.
Thank you so much for any help you are able to provide—whether it is any amount of money or sharing this message with others, we are deeply appreciative. And hope these efforts will bring our friend home!
