Some recent interesting pieces of Israel PR News in the media courtesy of Ronn Torossian, a leading American based Public Relations Executive:

  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhaXxRtSodI – Recently re-released old public relations video courtesy of the Israel Defense Forces media arm which discusses the military importance of Judea & Samaria. The clip is cleverly titled “9 Narrow Miles”, which refers to the distance of Israel without the territories.
  • Haaretz (as well as a leading American PR outlet, O’Dwyers) published an article claiming that The Palestinian Authority is mulling whether to hire an Israeli PR firm to highlight “the other Palestine,” which according to Haaretz is the “nightlife, parties, cultural events, cafes and upscale restaurants.” Not mentioned in the article is the fact that reservists were lynched in Ramallah – and that Israelis are barred from visiting these regions, as they would be in danger for their lives. How it is possible even Haaretz can publish something this is astonishing.
  • Admidst the repeated threats of BDS-ers against musicians, it is noteworthy to note that European star Pete Doherty has planned an April concert in Tel Aviv.

The Zionist prophet Ze’ev Jabotinsky said about the importance of Public Relations: “The work of the publicist is a legacy from the Prophets of Israel… Our passion is to speak, to proclaim—“Shouting” is what the same audience calls it, ‘we have no need for words, give us actions.’ One thing that audience forgets is that speech is also an action – Perhaps the most authentic of all other actions. Cities have been destroyed, and more will fall, but what was shouted in the wilderness thousands of years ago is alive and still relevant. The world was created by the Word. The world will be mended by the Article.”
