This week No Shabbat Shalom for you will take a different tone. Some people have objected to me saying that I don’t wish some people Sabbath Peace. So here is today’s version.

Shabbat Shalom to everyone, everyone, yes everyone.
Here are my Shabbat wishes.

To Al Sharpton, I hope that you find it in your heart now that you are rich (you don’t pay taxes that helps) and famous, to not divide communities along racial lines. I hope that one day you will stop seeing the world in black, and white and view it in full glorious color since we are all God’s children.

To Barack Obama, I know that you are a father as well as President so I wish for you to look at the blessings that you have. You were voted by the vast majority of white people as President of the United States just 150 or so years after slavery. You have dreamed the American dream, and benefited from it. I dream of a day when you appreciate what you have, and what a special, unique, exceptional place the United States is.
Furthermore I hope that you wake up one day and realize that it is better to build, not divide, grow and look forward instead of looking back, and treat all of us Americans with the respect that you so clearly demand for yourself.

To the leaders of ISIS, Bashar Assad, and other Islamist s throughout the world. Take a step back and think about this for a minute. What kind of belief lets you murder, maim, destroy, mutilate in this life so that one can have a better life in the hereafter? Perhaps when you look at it this way you will realize that there is indeed beauty in most of what Islam teaches and focus on that. Life is a precious miracle, children are the future and the world will be a much better place for you and for all when you look at every life as such.

To the leaders of North Korea, open your doors and let sunshine in. The world is waiting for you to join us among the family of nations. You will benefit personally as your impoverished, terrorized people show their resolve, and become an economic powerhouse instead of a captive people. Your poor land will grow, blossom and flourish among nations instead of fighting them.

To the Palestinians. You are our cousins, and you deserve to live a full rich life as human beings. Instead of dreaming of destroying your neighbors, join them in peace and prosperity.

To those who run over babies, throw acid in children’s faces, one life is a universe, and no matter what your grievances are real or imagined, doing such a thing will never get you anywhere. Try this on for size throw, rose pedals, candies, at Israelis. Show that you really want to be neighbors, and it will happen.

To those on the left, Republicans and conservatives want the same things as you. To live life, to be free, to have everybody prosper not the few. Treat your enemies with love not disdain, tell the truth and it will set everyone free.

To those whom I mentioned I wish you Shabbat Shalom.
