Was just telling a friend I don't buy bags of milk-the milk is packaged in petroleum! Must rent a cow-milk is so expensive and my kids must have fondue-milk w/chocolate chips-every day.

I cant help myself, but I must disagree. Although your arguments are eloquent and stylish, I myself have no trouble in the least opening up these lovely tuna cans. Much better than lugging out my food-encrusted can opener which probably has all sorts of scary botulism germs multiplying along the cutter, which can barely reach the edge of the can anyway. So in a way, you might say, these pop-top cans have perhaps even saved my life! Thank you Starkist! and thanks Varda for another great post!
