		<description><![CDATA[Good article, but... as someone who made Aliya in 2001 and volunteered for the army in 2002, I can tell you without a single shred of doubt that people were terrified (not for a week or two, but for over two years) to set foot in Israel. Buses were empty. Streets were empty. Restaurants instituted a surcharge for the layers of security posted at their doors. Hundreds were murdered. The terror caused or greatly contributed to an economic freeze, but it was the terror at the root of the problem. I&#039;m not for one second downplaying the fear caused by the rockets, but I don&#039;t think the two situations are comparable... that said KOL HAKAVOD to every man, woman and child who makes Aliya, and to you.]]></description>
