Perhaps acknowledge, that yes, indeed there is an existing problem- what do we do to fix it? Perhaps this is not the right forum to do it, but I truly believe it has to start somewhere. Rina wrote eloquently , honestly and from the heart, I really follow and hear what she is saying. I have had the same frustrations with my friends who claim the most ignorant , inaccurate, things as well. That being said, I just finished watching Five Broken Cameras and perhaps I have been equally as blind and ignorant to the Palestinian cause. That DOES not detract from my love of Israel, like was pointed out..you cannot blindly just love every thing about your country for that country.

I have been bullied (excuse my English) when in school back in France and suffered much from the attitudes of others: systematical rejection and agressions. Many years later I am finding myself once again in a huge school yard the size of a country, France where I was born and meeting again the growned-up bulliers but this time spitting their venom not only on me but on Israel's back (I lived in Eretz for some time and since I feel I have to be a full-time advocate of Israel (on the same standards you described to us) So many so-called friends suddenly revealed their true nature and attacked viciously Israel and more generally Jews that I had to react. I am always left a little sick after each encounter, physically and morally as I am the only one around to do the "job": defending the HONOR of ISRAEL and of AM ISRAEL. I know this is happening in many places in France and to many Jews. The western world, including the US, seems to regress to the same behaviors which were found during the 1930's: anti-Semitism becoming a "normal" kind of "philosophy"! Hating Jews? no problem as it is becoming the norm all over the world. So I am continuing to fight, without a gun or helmet, as I know I have to, no matter what. Like you, I guess, it is a matter not only of justice but also a matter of LOVE! Love of Israel and of ALL Jews. Haavat Israel. Am Israel Chai!
