Is no more righteous than those you vilify… and despite your eloquence to frame a different picture, when you look behind the facade you created… it's clearly seen.

Mary Hughes, your words nauseated me so. Your words and assumptions are offensive because of your lack of factual evidence. You are simply miming the words of Arab propaganda, bought and paid for by the E.U I won't even begin to respond to what you said, because Zahava Englard already did so eloquently. But you are misinformed and your words are hurtful and dangerous, because they are false. Where is the" revenge" upon the Arabs by Jews that you speak of? Show me, please, with facts. Less than one month ago Israel endured a terrible barrage of rockets from Gaza, completely unprovoked. There was death, destruction and terror for the Israeli citizens. Are you aware that Gaza received truckloads of good from Israel, and gas, water and electric provided by ISrael, even though she was viciously and relentlessly attacked.? The Arabs have been at war with us since before 1948. Look up the Hevron Massacre, where women and children were savagely murdered by their Arab neighbors, the same people they did business with and co-existed with. Why? Wow- Zahava, a poignant article, you are a true wordsmith. I can relate to the wanting to take a break once in a while, and just be like the rest of the world, especially living in the Diaspora. It is sometimes an upwards battle, but worth every drop of spent energy, to be a Jew (ess). I hope that when the Israeli elections are over I Netanyahu sticks to his bold words and promises about building more homes in Yesha, and that he does not fall prey to the opinions of threats of the bastardly UN and world at large. I read today that Abbas is threatening to haul Jews into the International Criminal Court on war crimes. He is on a roll! Many of my good friends in Israel have told me not to be so excited over news of building. I hope by now he is done catering to the left and appeasing the world. By now Israel should be the leader in the Middle East and the West, setting an example for All to follow.
