No country’s citizens should be forced to make the kind of difficult choice that faces Americans today. Seriously, it is simply not humane.

They have to choose between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump as their president!

Clinton has a healthy ego but she is also a good listener who gives great importance to consensus building. As senator she was known for working well with both Democrats and Republicans. Trump is self-important and always talks about himself rather than about consensus building. He is also obsessed with being seen as important and intelligent, and the size of his hands and perhaps other body parts is of critical importance to him. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton knows international issues extensively since she was secretary of state, and she is well respected by world leaders. Trump is seen internationally as a buffoon, and he often gets confused on international policies. When he visited Mexico, he was contradicted by the Mexican President on the simple issue of whether they discussed the wall or not. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton knows domestic issues extensively, and she has worked on various policies and legislations, including health care and women’s rights. Trump does not even understand fiscal policy which should be his area of expertise since he says that he is very rich. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton is married to a man who once lied to her about having an affair, but she worked with her husband to resolve their differences, and she saved her marriage which she considers a sacred rite. Her husband, a former two-terms President, is actively involved in supporting her campaign, and he respects her immensely. Trump has been married three times. His first two marriages ended in messy divorces and he is now married to a model who is 24 years younger than him. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton was a Republican early in life, largely due to her father’s influence, and she has been a Democrat since 1968. Trump changed political allegiances six times, and he was a Democrat until 2009 and an independent until 2012. He also threatened to run as an independent if the Republican Party did not nominate him. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton has released her financial information. Trump refuses to release any financial information, and he is known to have made far less charitable contributions than he claims to have made. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton chose as her Vice-Presidential running mate a man who reflects her own values and objectives and who would provide a seamless transition if needed. Trump chose as his running mate a man with whom he has little in common and who would provide a very different type of leadership if Trump became incapacitated. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton won a tough nomination battle against Bernie Sanders, but after he lost, Sanders endorsed her, and he is now campaigning for her, as is the incumbent President Barack Obama. Trump beat Ted Cruz in a messy nomination fight that included Trump insulting every candidate including Cruz, and during which Trump suggested that the Republican convention would face violence if he was not nominated. The Republican nomination campaign ended with Cruz refusing to endorse Trump. Since then many high-profile Republicans have also refused to endorse Trump, and some have even endorsed Clinton. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton who has been a senator and the secretary of state has made some mistakes, but no more than the average politician, and she has learned from them. Trump has never held public office of any kind, but he has committed so many shocking blunders in the campaign alone that a Trump presidency would be expected to result in mistakes that would be costly to both America and the world. Tough choice that Americans have!

Clinton is making well-researched promises, most of which she can reasonably be expected to deliver on. Trump has made fanciful and outlandish promises that no one, not even his supporters, expects that he will deliver on. Tough choice that Americans have!

America is a great country, but the reality today is bleak. The only thing that stands in the way of the election of an unqualified and self-absorbed reality-show host to the office of President is a qualified, experienced, hard-working, and knowledgeable woman who would make history as the first-ever female leader of the free world.
