Before the occupation and settlement expansionism, there had been virtually no Western “anti-Israelism.”.

It was only after the state promoted its expansionist project that now has 700,000 settlers in the West Bank, that criticism of Israel and even anti-Israelism over much of the Western world eventually emerged. Not before, but after. How often does one have to say it?
