They are a return to their roots. People say Menachem Begin wouldn't find a place in today's Likud. I say the opposite. If Begin had run in this year's primary, he would've been elected chairman of that party. The Likud of today is Labor of the 70s. The new list represents what Likud looked like, not in the 90s Gideon, but rather of the 70s and 80s.

Jabotinsky and Begin would turn over in their grave as Gideon said at the thought of TSS. They'd have been proud of the new list.

Only yesterday the Hungarian Jobbik party was complaining about the protection of minorities. Marton Gyongyosi referred to one minority in particular that he said was subversive and also a danger to the country.
You seem to hold similar opinions about another minority and think you are different from Gyongyosi.
BTW, what relevance does your comment have to an article on Jabotinsky, Revisionism and the new Likud?

Mr. Grifffith, what country are you referring to, the US or Israel?
For me both countries are prime examples of parliamentary democracies.
There is majority rule with checks and balances to uphold the rights of minority groups and individuals.

I think Ari Briggs put it quite nicely in his post here. We have judges that do not judge fairly and equitably. Something has to be done to remedy this situation, not moan about stifling the judicial system when it is clearly broken. The rights of the minorities are given overwhelming preference rather than ruling justly. This must cease.
