interesting piece but efrat is not a classic settlement because gush etziyon was given to the jews during the partition plan 2) israeli arabs in east jeruslaem do have the same rights as any israeli 3) though I disagree with your refusal to join the army, forget the security concern etc it is a neccesity like taxes that one must pay I think you should have done sherut leumi instead of the service. refusal to do that in my opinion is similar to refusing to pay taxes 4) arabs in the west bank have the right to vote with in the PA which is where they reside under occupation or not, why should a people who's founding government in 1964 considers israel as an enemy state? should convicted foreign terrorist in american jails have the right to vote in american elections?

Occupation? Where? There was a committee named the "Levi report" that were nominated to check into the legal position Judea and sameria are in , guess who headed this committee? Edmond Levi (a well known judge in the heigh court who even the left respect ) , a professor who from the international community who was part of the Oslo agreement , and some more , they ruled that Israel is not an occupier according to international law , therefore any claim you make should be backed with facts from legal books (not just agreements within the international community , but real laws which point out specifically this issue ) , you can be sued for Hesse claims you make.

they don't. a bunch of Arabs who immigrated here over the centuries, and who were brought over to counter Jewish population growth , do exist. But there is no, and nver has been a Palestinian People. It just affords you to assert your agenda, to assuage your need to obviate your obligations as a Jew,…etc. In 1897 there were Arabs here, as there were Jews, indeed, still from the time of the destruction of the 2nd Temple. But, the name "Palestinian was given by the romans to piss off the Jews…ah, shoot, you knew this too…i forgot, you're another fellow traveler of the "I want to be loved by the goiim, and eat treif" group.

…and the fact that an Iranian seems to have better grasp and understanding of Israel and the situation as a whole, doesn't really say very much of you or the author of this article. You all seem to class yourselves as conscientious objectors who rebel against the system. Yet, while the Iranian objector (in addition to having a better grasp of Israel) sacrifices his life…the only thing you have probably ever sacrifised was a packet of cigarettes.

Oh and interestingly TOI just published an opinion piece by another conscientious objector…this time from Iran. His name is kamyar Attarian. Ironically he touched on the same topic that you raised re Hanin Zoabi and the question of whether Israel has a democracy…he manages to demolish your argument completely. I guess the difference between you as a objector and him is that while his life is in danger for opposing the Irianian regime, you can enjoy a nice latte on shenkin street. Further in regards to Zoabi, it's likely that the supreme court will overturn the ban and she will be allowed back not the Knesset. The supreme court did not extend the same leniancy to the Kachin party when it was bannned and I bet that you would have had no problem with that. I wonder if the US would have allowed members of congress to openly state the destruction of the US and openly support those who try to destroy the US
