The problem itself still retains all of its original power and this could yet prolong the Israeli-Palestinian conflict well into the next decade – and beyond.
To have any significant impact in the upcoming Israeli election, someone may, indeed, have to ' take the initiative, suggest new and bold ideas, and present a horizon for Israel and its neighbors.'

Well, this must be new. Nothing like it has ever been tried before. Or am I mistaken in that assumption?
It's bold; it may push the frontiers of human achievement towards limits never imagined until now.
The horizon it offers to both Arab and Jew may be the only one not darkened by the constant prospect of endless warfare.

Anyway, it's good to know that there are always possibilities.
