It's not the promises you make that counts its the ones you can keep. The labor economic plan does not provide a means to pay or the increases in spending. The diplomatic front is even less sure a bet.

Dear Mr Bar, on what concrete information and or knowledge you dare assert that you (labour) can talk peace with Abu Mazen? Have you, Livni or others similarly minded ever LISTENED to him talking in Arabic?
If you have, which part of his JEW HATRED have you not understood?
You say you are optimistic because you are younger. I say you are optimistic because you are totally IGNORANT of what Islam is and who the followers of Muhammad are.
Do yourself a favour and read chapter 9 (Surat al Tauba) verse 29 to 33 and please come back to me and tell me if there is anything therein you have not understood.
Islam is all about SUBTERFUGE.
Muhammad instilled in his followers the following : WAR is DECEPTION!
Study & LEARN before you comment.

You say about poverty, but you do not mark the reasons for it. I can guess what the reasons are, but you may not like it: big labour unions, israel electric, israel railways, sea ports etc were raised and fed by the Labour party in its various forms for decades. Shelly declared that she is about to keep supporting them (power to the working class, have we heard?). Yes, Shelly wishes to reduce the poverty, but who is to pay for that? Definitely not the tycoons (these will run away with the money), but, naturally, the mid class.

Shelly's pure Communist agenda turns me back in time and place to the USSR of early 80-s: very sweet slogans, and very poor life quality. Then there were late 80-s: empty stores, food cards and lots of money to nothing for them. That's what I recall when I hear Shelly. No, thanks, I've had enough of it.

I really, indeed, do not justify Netanyahu. He made several rude mistakes, some of them unforgivable. However, I regret to admit, that there is no leader, today, in Israel, that no matter what the agenda were, that I might say I would follow him/her. But I know very well, for myself, whom I won't elect in any way - Shelly is there.

To the end, a word about Samaria and Judeah. Who exactly are you going to negotiate with? Abbas? Mashaal? Just recall that even Arafat, the guy with a much bigger influence, refused to sign more that welcoming agreement with Israel. Do you truly believe that there is any trustful palestinian leader that is capable to sign peace with us? Illusions. Just for remark, Samaria and Judeah ARE the land of Israel. That's where the people of Israel actually lived (and not in Ashqelon, Ashdod and Acco). Granting these lands to Arabs in fact makes Jewish claims for National Home in the promised land... meaningless. You are right, I don't want sent my children to Ramallah and Hebron - I want my children to live in Israel that includes Ariel, Shchem, Hebron, Jerusalem and Beth-Lehem undoubtedly.

Cheers
