Ravi, your hatred for Israel is showing again. There is apartheid in Israel, practiced by the Palestinian Authority, who permits no Jew in the area they control. There is no apartheid practiced by Israel. As far as only having eight friends, wrong again. Australia frequently votes with Israel. Your country of India probably will be doing the same in the near future. Finally, there are more countries ruled by dictators and tyrants in the world that democracies. Ravi, I am indeed saying that. The world is not a moral place. It wasn't in the 1930's-1940's when not a single country condemned Hitler's treatment of the Jews and stuck its neck out to save the Jewish people, and it isn't today, when the world turns its back on genocides in Sudan and elsewhere.

So youre saying that the world minus 8 is wrong and Israel is right ? For arguments sake lets take your contention as true, but given the growing antipathy Israel is subjected to,shouldnt it manage things differently, rather than continue to rub the world up the wrong way and dig itself into an ever deeper hole?

The mistake that you make is in assuming that what is popular is what is right, when the reality has usually been the exact opposite throughout the history of the world, on both a macro and micro level. Are the popular kids in school the ones who are the most moral and just? No, just as in the case of the world stage, it is those who have the money and power and are willing to use it to glorify themselves and to bully others that are most popular, and it is those who have true values that are the few, or must even stand alone.
